Primary job function

California, USA based company looking to hire a Colombia based individual to do sales and marketing, conduct research into the local market, and verify and communicate with wholesalers within the country to import IT related computer products from USA.

Job Duties

• Visit wholesalers who are in IT business to import IT products from USA.
• Paid travel within the country to potential wholesalers who are major importers for new, used or refurbished IT products.
• Daily communication with the US office.
• Research the local Colombian market to discover the types of computer products in demand for potential import from the USA
• Verifies purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarifying unclear items; recommending alternatives.
• Forwards available inventory items from USA by verifying stock; scheduling delivery.
• Prepares purchase orders of clients by verifying specifications and price; obtaining recommendations from suppliers for substitute items.
• Coordinate with freight agent or with client on how to import items from USA to Colombia.
• Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error with clients.
• Authorizes payment for purchases by forwarding receiving documentation.
• Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
• Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.

• Must have cellphone and laptop.
• Transportation
• Report daily progress with thorough details of work performed on a daily basis with USA office.
• Compensation based on experience with base salary and commission.
• Interview will be done over Zoom.
• Must submit resume in English.
